I can't believe it has almost been a year and a half since my mom's first baby (me!) got married. Now, Trav and I are going to have our own first baby anytime now! (Yes, we're still anxiously waiting!) My mom has taught me so much and I've always been so excited for the day when I could be a mother just like her. She has taught me to do so many things and has been a big part in making me who I am today. I am so thankful for her!
She lives to serve others and this week, she continued that by getting work off on Monday and Tuesday to come stay with me during the day. This way, Trav didn't have to worry about me going into labor while he was in class or at work and not getting to the hospital in time. It was so fun to spend the two days with her. I realized that since I came to Logan, we've never really spent a whole day just relaxing. (kind of, haha we always have projects we're trying to finish) We ran errands together and worked on a scrapbook for my brother who's on a mission. She made us dinner on Tuesday because "that's what moms are supposed to do" she said, and the best part was that she got to take naps on both Monday and Tuesday which she definitely deserves more often! It was great having her stay with me, and just made me even more excited for being the one to now make the dinners for my kids. Thanks mom! Love you!
