One Year Fall Pictures

I've been wanting to get some cute pics with Chace in the leaves, however I am coming to the conclusion that it might not be possible to get cute, smiling pictures from this kid for a couple of years!  He is constantly moving, walking away from the camera, and heaven for bid he would smile for the camera.  We get a lot of "look mom, here's a rock" pictures, but I guess catching the moment is sometimes better than a posed picture right? :)  Here are a few from our gorgeous walk today.  I love Logan in the fall!!

Palisades

This past week was fall break for the Saunders clan and it happened to work out that all the cousins from all over the state had the same fall break this year. (Usually there's at least one family who's fall break is different.)  Trav had to work all weekend, but I took advantage of the chance to have a little break from work and rode down to Palisades with my family.  My extended family usually makes it to this lovely lake each year, but I haven't been there since I was small.

Vacations are definitely different now that we have a one year old little curious boy!  No sitting and relaxing, just lots of dirt, rocks and more rocks.  What a boy! :)

Each family stayed in a little cabin that you can rent and we had a great time.  We couldn't ask for better weather, or more beautiful fall leaves!

This and That!

I apologize for being so slow to blog lately!  With this new job and all that's been going on lately, it just seems to get put on the back burner... among many other things according to Travis I'm sure.  Things have been so awesome though and it just seems like blessings are placed in our laps every day.  The way things worked out with this job, insurance, finding out about the baby, and so on and so on, I don't know how or why we have been so blessed this last year!

SO, I want to sum up just a few things we've been up to lately!  Our AWESOME friends Jared and Suzanne are a little ahead of us in the technology area.  We have always had one of those old TVs, you know that ones that aren't skinny as a notebook! :)  Well, Jared and Suzanne were getting a new TV and asked if we'd like their old flat screen....uh old flat screen??  That's definitely a step up for us!  So, of course we had to have something to put it on that wasn't in Chace's reach.  Went to the DI, nothing.  Checked around online... didn't want to fork out the $$!!  (If you know me, you know I try to do things the cheapest way possible!!)  As I was sitting there looking around on KSL, I looked in our spare room and Ta-Da!!  This 90's forest green beauty shouted "Hellllo!  I'm perfect for the job!"

A friend of mine gave this to us when we moved into our first apartment and it's worked great for storing all my craft stuff, but I've always wanted to give it a little facelift!  So, Chace and I spent the day spray painting and found some new hardware for it and here it is after the transformation and the delivery of our old/new TV!  Let's just say Trav was in heaven with the new TV and I with how the desk turned out!!

We got a whole bunch of awesome birthday pics from the Hansen clan so I wanted to show ya just a few more of our awesome party!  Let's just say he LOVED his cake!

Although from the look of this picture, he did get a little full and maybe was in a bit of a sugar coma!

Chace has been a busy guy, we never have a dull moment!
