Spring Time!

Well, it finally warmed up!  Too bad tomorrow is supposed to be almost 20 degrees colder.  So, Chace and I took this brief opportunity to get outside and take Easter pics today.  We weren't able to get them on Sunday because of the massive blow out he decided to have in his Easter clothes! :) Enjoy!

Bed Head!?

Well, we never thought the day would come!  

I didn't even think it was possible yet but, as you can see, it is possible! :)

Meet, Agnes

Well everyone, I'd like you to meet the new addition to our family!

 This:

is Agnes!

All the way from West Germany...sort of :)

Now, this here is Frank:

Frank is the trusty, sorta rusty machine I've been using for all my projects.  This was my Great Grandma's machine and his straight stitch works like a charm...
but that's about it.

If you look close, Agnes here has 99 programmed stitches.  Amazing!

Plus, she is very organized with her own storage drawer!  My kinda lady!

Sure, she might have a few years on her, but that's just fine because sewing machines are one of those things that they just don't make like they used to anymore.  She is definitely sturdy!

She'll be heading to the spa soon for a fabulous facial and deep cleansing treatment.  After that, she'll be ready to shine! :)  Thanks to my fabulous friend Heidi who isn't too into sewing right now and basically gave me the machine.  After 18 years of sitting in storage, Miss Agnes my dear, get ready to work!



Oh, and here's a sneak peak at a few things I've been working on lately!

Busy Boy!

We definitely have a busy boy on our hands! He's crawling all over, getting into everything, bonking his head on every corner of furniture we have, and pulling himself up on everything... at only 6 3/4 months! The other day he crawled from his room down the hall and into the bathroom to find me! We have some major baby proofing to be done.

Some good news though, we are moving across town next month to some apartments that we've been on a 14 month waiting list for! We're excited because it is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath and 20+ years newer than where we're at now! It'll be so great to be able to sew and craft somewhere besides our kitchen counter! Yay! Hooray for moving... especially with this busy guy! Wish us luck!

At least Chace gets tired once in a while!! :)
