Christmas 2012

It is crazy how Christmas comes and goes so fast, almost too fast.  I'm always so sad when it's over, luckily we get a head start and love to get into the Christmas spirit right after Halloween so we have plenty of time to enjoy it!  This year was awesome, we did so many different things and took so many pictures. :)  Forgive me for the random picture overload, but here are some of my favorite moments and pictures from this Christmas season.  We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Time as well!

To start us off, Jason made us his delicious Hmong egg rolls, our tasty Christmas Eve tradition!

Santa came of course and brought Chace a drum set! (I know, Santa's crazy) 

Aubree was spoiled as well.

My homemade attempt this year was an Aggie blanket out of Trav's old Game Day shirts and old jeans. It turned out pretty good I think and we'll be able to use it a lot since we're pretty much Aggie fans for life.

 Chace also loved his motorcycle! (Snagged for cheap at the DI, the kid will never know!)

 We ate lots and lots of treats... and spatulas?

We got to Skype with missionary Brad for about an hour.  He's doing so good!

Eight Months

I can't believe this little lady is eight months already!  She is growing so fast and catching on to new things all the time.  She is close to crawling, and is a pro at the army crawl.  She loves her brother so much and loves to dance to any music that she hears.  She is starting to wave a little bit and babbles a lot!  She is so fun to have, we are very lucky! :)  She was a great helper today while I was wrapping Christmas gifts.  Don't worry, she was well supervised :)  See that whiff of hair, she really has some, I promise!

Beautiful Sister

I have an amazing, beautiful sister!  If you saw us together you probably wouldn't guess we were actually sisters, she's got the long blonde hair, she's tall, tans easily, etc. etc.  :) She's so cute, I was so lucky to get to take a few snap shots of her after an awesome snow storm we finally got.  They turned out pretty great!  Love this girl. Little Cuties

We have a lot of fun around here when Brantley comes to play! Although it can be a little hectic at times, it is so funny to see these kids interact with each other!  They always want what the other one has and love to climb over each other.  What cuties. :)

Cousins!

This past weekend we headed to the Hansen's for a birthday party for all the November birthdays!  We had a great time, and it was also Jaxon's first birthday so of course that was fun!

And this is our hilarious attempt at a Grandkid picture!  Priceless! 

Thanksgiving

We had a very good Thanksgiving Day at the Hansen's place!  The kids love having cousins to play with and we all had a great time.  I'm so grateful for all of my family and for all of the blessings that we are given daily.  How lucky we are to live in this country with the many things we have and often times take for granted.  I have a goal to try and be more thankful this coming year and focus on what I have more than what I want.  I know that is one of the keys to happiness! :)

We also stopped by the Saunders' place on Friday and Chace had fun helping Grandpa in the yard.  He loves being Grandpa's little helper.

7 Months

This cute little lady turned seven months on Monday.  We love her so much and she is just growing and learning new things like crazy.  She has started to really groove when she hears any music, which I love!  We were in Old Navy the other night and she was just jamming out!  She has perfected the army crawl, she really can get anywhere she wants.  She has started babbling more which is fun because she says "da-da-da" and "ma-ma-ma".  It will be a bit until she knows what she's saying, but it makes us happy! :)  She loves her baby food and is sleeping pretty good most days.  We love her so much and her little smile just makes my heart melt!

On the Chace note, he was singing I Am a Child of God (well the same two lines over and over) today for the first time.  It just put a big smile on my face.  He does something new and cute everyday.  He discovered today that if he puts something down the top of his shirt, it will come out the bottom.  Yay for stretched out necks on all of his shirts from now on!  He thought that was the coolest thing ever.  He sure loves his little sis too, and blowing raspberries on her head and belly and legs! :)

Happy Halloween!

I am definitely not a huge Halloween person, but when it comes to dressing the kids up, I get a little excited!  Chace loves anything cowboy and he loves the horse and hat he got for his birthday so of course it didn't take much to make him the cutest little cowboy!

We had fun taking the kids to see a few neighbors and friends close by.  Chace got pretty good at the "Trick or Treat" thing and got quite the loot! Also, who knew we'd have perfect record high temperatures for Halloween!  We hope you all had a great Halloween as well!

Happy Autumn!

I love when the leaves change colors and everything is just vibrant and beautiful!  I couldn't pass up a warm autumn day to catch some pics of the kids and I got super lucky!  They actually cooperated enough to catch a few great ones, even worthy of a blog header! :)  (Just a few days later a storm came in and blew a ton of leaves off of the trees behind our place. I'm so sad!)  But I'll count my blessings and be grateful for some great pictures of some cute kiddos! :)

Dress Up

Aubree's aunts can't wait for her to be a little older so they can start playing dress up with her but as for now, Chace will have to do! :)  These are a few of the awesome outfits he got to display during our visit to the Hansen's on Sunday.  Too funny!

And of course they couldn't help but fancy Aubree up a little. So that's what she'd look like with hair! :)
