Everyday Excitement

Although the air has been icky and we've been staying inside a lot, the kids have still been keeping us busy and having fun.  These are just a few of the fun moments we've had this month.  (Obviously one of the kids' favorite things to do is climb all over Trav.  It's always nice when he finally gets home from work! ;)  The carrot in Aubree's mouth seems to be what helps her gums to feel better, whatever it takes right!?)

9 Months!

Our little AubreeAnn turned nine months on Saturday!  I can't believe how fast she's growing up.  She broke 15 lbs. at her doctors appointment. :)  I love this age when they start to crawl and pull themselves up onto things because they discover a whole new world.  It is fun to watch her interact with Chace, he's teaching her many things... some good and some bad. :)  She loves bath time so much, she starts squealing anytime we go into the bathroom, even if it is not for a bath.  She's starting to get herself stuck in places like under our bar stools and chairs, it is pretty comical.  She sleeps great at night and takes good naps when she wants to.  She is very vocal, loves bread now and adores her dad.  We can't get enough of this smiley gal! :)

She's also always on the move, so it's a little bit harder to get pictures of her now!

Bring on the New Year!

I love starting the new year and feeling like you get a fresh start!  I'm not huge on the resolution thing, but there are a few things that I am going to try to do better and work on this year.  I'm so grateful for all that my little family and I have been given and the opportunities we are having and I'm grateful for the trials as well that help us to grow.  I'm excited to see where 2013 takes us.

These two kids of ours just mean the world to me and make every day worth it.  I can't believe how fast they grow up.  I took a few cute pictures of them that just make me smile this week.

Oh!  We also started a New Years tradition this year in honor of the South!  Homemade fried cat fish, hush puppies, french fries and jalapeno poppers!  Trav was in heaven!
