Trav's New Friend

So Trav's been wanting a grill for a LONG time but we, #1 didn't have a place to put one, and #2 needed to find one on a great deal or it would have to wait! (Money...blah!) Well he got lucky with this new place. We had a little spot and thanks to his awesome mom and step dad who found us this sweet deal, Trav now has a new friend that only cost $20! We had the crew over for some 5th of July Kabobs (thanks Suzanne!!) and corn on the cob. Then we went to Hyrum and watched their fireworks. I LOVE SUMMER!!

So I had a request to post pregnancy pictures (thanks Nat haha). I've been avoiding it, so I guess I'll give in this once. He's doing great and growing A LOT lately! Here's what been up the last few weeks! :)

Flower Bed!

One of the best things about this new apartment is the little 5 by 9 feet patch of dirt in front of our place that we were told we could do whatever we want with! I didn't get a good "before" pic, but it sure needed some work. We were excited to be able to actually have a mini flower bed! We got all the weeds out, pulled out a stump (thanks for the help Coup!) and cut the bushes back that were overtaking the place. It's still a work in progress but so far so good and we had a lot of fun!

New Apartment

June 2nd, after living two weeks with our dear friends Jared and Suzanne becuase Travis couldn't get down the stairs to our basement apartment after the leg ordeal, we finally moved into a place where we could actually feel a little more at home! This apartment is a little more open than the last one we were in which will be great for the new little guy on the way and we were able to add a few touches of our own which made it fun. So here's what we've been doing so far with our new place!

Although the nice 70's linoleum went well with the rest of the 70's kitchen, we were grateful when the manager informed us we'd be getting some new linoleum. (It looks even better in person!)

Graduation!

Way back before Trav's little leg fiasco, I did actually graduate from Utah State which was pretty exciting and quite the relief! I don't think it has fully hit me that I don't have any more school come this fall! Oh how happy I am though! Here's a few pics of the great day. We had a fun family dinner at the park afterwards with my family and Trav's mom and her family! Thanks everyone for your support through the long four years!

Finally Connected!

Well it's about time! It's amazing how much you realize you rely on the internet when you go for almost two months without it! Finally we've got internet hooked up in our new apartment! So much has happened in the last two months, it's catch up time. So hope you don't mind all the random posts that are about to come!
