Testing Out the New Fishing Pole

We had such a fun time taking Chace fishing for the first time.  He wanted to try out the new pole he got from Grandpa Saunders for his Birthday. Trav had the genius idea of taking him to the trout farm.  (This kid just really wanted to catch a fish!)  It was an awesome family night!

Three!

We have a three year old! Crazy! :)

 Chace got to be the spotlight at preschool on his birthday so he got to take a 

poster and his favorite snack.  He thought he was pretty cool!

Happy Birthday crazy little man!  We love you and your hilarious little personality!

Our Little Man

Chace started preschool this week!  I was a little nervous because he can have quite the separation anxiety.  (We still have our bad days at nursery and he's almost three! :))  He did awesome though and was just a tiny bit nervous for me to leave, but once he got involved with the other kids, he was just fine and he has been all smiles when I've picked him up and whenever we talk about it.  He's been telling everyone that he gets to go to preschool.  He's going to the Music Train Preschool and I love that the teacher keeps the class sizes small and uses music as a teaching method.  Even though it is a little bit of a drive now that we moved further away, I think it will be worth it.  He was ready (as well as I) to get out of the house a little bit. :)

 Also, since he's in the groove of thinking he's all grown up, it was perfect timing that his cousins passed on their glider bike that he loves and caught onto so quick.  It's a pretty sweet little bike with no pedals that helps kids learn to balance on the two wheels without training wheels. Man, I can't believe he's growing up so fast!
